A major train progamme crammed with long and short train trips that was operated on behalf of the Art Deco Trust for the annual Napier Art Deco Weekend for over a decade. This involved in basing the train in Napier for many days. Popular trips included a long day run to Gisborne with a stop at the famous Beach Loop,to Holt Forest in the Esk Valley, short steam train rides between Napier and Hastings stations and evening "Pea, Pie, Pud" runs to Ormondville and Otane.
